Medical Assistant – $15-18/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
Out-patient pediatric clinical nursing care
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor patient arrivals, room patients, update problem list, past medical and surgical history, social history, family history, and medication list.
2. Obtain vital signs, chief complaint and prepare patient for the provider.
3. Assists provider with examination, procedures, and care as needed.
4. Reviews EHR for lab orders and processes appropriate specimens for outside lab. Adheres to standards for appropriate collection of all specimens.
5. Performs in house lab tests as ordered by the provider.
6. Notify Clinic Manager when supplies, tests, and other items need to be ordered.
7. Oversees the management of vaccine stock. This includes maintaining appropriate documentation and handling of inventory as well as recording of refrigerator temperatures.
8. Performs Immunizations, EKG’s, pulse oximetry, spirometry, PPDs, and other tests or medication .delivery as ordered by the provider.
9. Clean and stocks examination rooms.
10. Answer phones as necessary with appropriate documentation. Forwards all necessary information to the provider.
11. Participates in team/staff meetings; attends in-service meetings and applicable workshops.
12. Performs all other duties required to provide for optimal patient care. This may at times include tasks such as answering the phones, scheduling patients, answering triage calls, and other roles that may normally be performed by other members of the team.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with current licensure as a MA or LPN in the state of Oklahoma
2. BLS certification

7. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Clinic Receptionist/Interpreter – $13/hour
Job Summary:
Serves as the “face” of the in-clinic operations by engaging with patients in person and over the phone in English and Spanish. Responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining records, and assigned administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Welcomingly assist patients with the scheduling of appointments as well as the check-in and check-out process.
- Verify insurance status of every patient prior to arrival and confirm upon arrival.
- Ensure all appropriate chart paperwork is filled out correctly and filed appropriately.
- Assist patients in making any necessary co-pays for their visit and appropriately handle money and financial practices.
- Provide patients with all appointment-specific paperwork necessary for their individual visit.
- Answer phone calls, assist families, and route any necessary questions to the appropriate staff member.
- Prioritize care of all patients, treating them with dignity and compassion regardless of the situation or circumstance.
- Assist with written and oral English/Spanish communication as needed, including interpreting during patient visits and occasional after-hours calls.
- Ensure all clinic paperwork and files are appropriately maintained.
- Input all necessary demographic, insurance, and similar data into the appropriate sections of the chart.
- Maintains the waiting room and front desk area.
- Participates in team/staff meetings; attends in-service meetings and applicable workshops.
- Work with the clinic manager, nurse, and medical provider in whatever way is necessary to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Computer skills (including EHR operation, word processing, and excel)
